The must-see yachts for sale at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2024

As the 2024 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show prepares to return to the Sunshine State, brokerage firms are getting ready to showcase some of the biggest yachts for sale in their fleet. BOAT International spotlights some of the must-see second-hand yachts across the show's seven locations...

Amaryllis

Builder: Abeking & Rasmussen
Year: 2011

The largest yacht listed for sale at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Amaryllis was built in Germany by Abeking & Rasmussen. Her interior is the work of Reymond Langton and was inspired by the Belle Époque, Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. To complement the artistic interior style are several custom-made furniture pieces by Silverlining. Accommodation for a party of 12 includes a master stateroom enjoying a private owner’s deck and panoramic windows providing uninterrupted 180-degree views. A central glass elevator, encircled by a spiral staircase, unites the lower deck with the bridge deck. The yacht was extensively refitted on 2022, including a hull repaint.

Amaryllis is asking €89,000,000 with Burgess and Moravia Yachting.

Amadeus

Year: 2007

Delivered in 2007 by Neue Jadewerft, Amadeus has since completed multiple global cruises. She was designed by Reymond Langton Design and François Zuretti with naval architecture by Vripack and Gregory C. Marshall. The Zuretti interior features Norwegian birch burl panelling and marble soles. A full bar serves guests in the main saloon which offers "expansive" sofas and armchairs, while the formal dining room and 14-person cinema room are forward of this. A crew of 23 look after an owner's party of up to 14 guests across seven cabins, including a private owner's deck with a full-beam master cabin, lounge and exterior deck space, along with a gymnasium and attached sauna.

Amadeus is asking €48,500,000 with Burgess.

Casino Royale

Delivered in 2018 as Solo and refitted in 2023, Casino Royale was designed by Francesco Paszkowski and features a darkened, slightly masculine interior design by Margherita Casprini. She sleeps up to 12 guests across six cabins, with further accommodation for 18 crew. According to her designer, one of Casino Royale's key design features is the beach club which is abundant in natural light thanks to a glass-bottom pool above. Guests will also benefit from the connection to the onboard wellness hub, comprising a Hammam and multiple fold-out terrace balconies.

Casino Royale is asking €69,000,000 with Merle Wood & Associates and Thompson of Monaco.

Loon

Designed by British studio RWD with an interior by Studio Linse, Loon was delivered by Icon Yachts in 2010 and refitted in 2020. A duplex owner's suite with a 180-degree viewing lounge and private terrace has proved to be very popular. One unusual design feature is that the beach club is directly accessible from the lower deck guest cabins, avoiding dripping through the saloon and negotiating staircases in wet swimwear. Guests can walk out of their cabins straight towards the sea via the beach club aft.

Loon is asking $47,500,000 with Merle Wood & Associates.

Marguerite

Marguerite was originally named Phoenix and was built by German yard Lürssen to Lloyd's class with exterior and interior styling by Winch Design. She was delivered in 2004 under the supervision of the Moran new construction team – where her design brief required a private owner’s area, professional dive centre, capacious tender storage and the ability to cruise for thirty days at a time. The large sundeck has a 10-person Jacuzzi with a dedicated insulated storage tank, allowing the tub to be emptied and refilled with immediate hot water. This area also features sunloungers for twelve guests. The superstructure here has been significantly reinforced to permit the landing and take off of a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter.

Marguerite is asking $39,900,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship.

Bella Vita

Bella Vita has a classic, rounded Espen Øino exterior and contemporary interiors by Glade Johnson, including handcrafted woods, contrasting fabrics and clever lighting weaved throughout. Though her sundeck is the real crowdpleaser, arranged with a bar, lounge and Jacuzzi alongside a fully equipped gymnasium with cardio machines and free weights. Other special features include a full disco with laser lights, DJ mixing decks and smoke machine, and there is also an on-board facility to print global daily publications. She was launched in 2010 under the name Katie Sue II.

Bella Vita is asking $57,500,000 with Merle Wood & Associates.

Skyfall

Skyfall was built by Trinity Yachts in the USA to a design by Geoff Van Aller with interior design by Patrick Knowles. Built in aluminium, she was delivered in 2010 and refitted in 2020. The "brilliantly appointed" interior has a six-stateroom layout, which accommodates 12 guests. A blend of woods – including Honduran mahogany, European maple burl and Australian Lacewood and Wenge – make for a warm and rich interior. The sundeck has a Jacuzzi and a separate plunge pool. She is topped off by a touch-and-go helipad that doubles as a basketball court. The 771GT yacht has a range of 4,000 nautical miles and a top speed of 18.5 knots.

Skyfall is asking $29,500,000 with FGI Yacht Group.

Unbridled

Unbridled was built by American yard Trinity Yachts to a design by Geoff Van Aller. The superyacht was delivered in 2009 and was refitted in 2019, whereby she had a full repaint and overhaul of interior furnishings. Her flexible six-cabin layout provides accommodation for up to 16 guests, including a full-beam master suite with a private study area, adjacent convertible cabin and spacious his-and-hers en suite bathroom complete with a multi-jet steam shower and deep soaking bath. The skylounge becomes a social hub with its games table, full bar and ample seating, while her Portuguese sundeck is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshment underway.

Unbridled is asking $23,950,000 with Northrop & Johnson.

Amaral

Amaral was built in Germany by Abeking & Rasmussen to a design by Donald Starkey. She accommodates 12 guests in six cabins. The full-beam master suite is located on the main deck and boasts a study and walk-in dressing room, while the VIP suite is on the bridge deck. Four additional cabins are below deck and consist of three doubles and a twin. The two aft cabins can be joined together to create a full-width VIP suite if desired. Starkey limited his use of woods to mahogany, platanus, Japanese ash and Macassar. The dark tones of the latter set strong accents in places such as the central stairwell, where it is used for the stair supports.

Starship

Renowned for starring in the hit reality series Below Deck under the pseudonym My Seanna, Starship was delivered in 2000 and has had three owners since. The yacht has undergone numerous upgrades and refits since her launch, including a stern extension, a total engine rebuild and over $450,000 in paint and polishing in 2021. Her classic interior is the work of Glade Johnson, with accommodation for up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a main deck owner's suite and a VIP suite located on the bridge deck. A particular highlight is the sundeck, which has a 10-person Jacuzzi and steps leading to a crow's nest for sunbathing or observation.

Starship is asking $16,950,000 with Worth Avenue Yachts.

After You

After You was built by Heesen in the Netherlands in 2011 with naval architecture by Vripack and exterior design by Omega Architects. She was last refitted in 2022 and was nominated at the 2012 World Superyacht Awards. An unusual and "lavish" interior, created by Ken Freivokh and Michela Reverberi, accommodates an owner's party of up to 12. The top deck has a "state-of-the-art" gym with floor-to-ceiling windows and leads out to a relaxation area with a Jacuzzi. There is also a full-width spa with a steam room, sauna, treatment room and relaxation space. Down at water level, the 45-square-metre beach club provides an inviting space from which to board water toys or to swim from.

After You is asking €34,000,000 with Yachtzoo.

Gene Machine

The first Amels 180, Gene Machine was delivered with several customisations including a computer desk in the upper saloon, more windows than standard and colourful, cartoon tiling in the beach club sauna. Accommodation is across five cabins, including the upper deck master suite which features a king-sized bed, a fold-down balcony, a private spa pool and 180-degree views forward. Exterior design is by Tim Heywood, while interiors are owed to Enzo Enea and Focus Yacht Design. The yacht hit the headlines twice in 2016 by rescuing six Cuban migrants and the 13.4-metre sailing yacht Minerva.

Lady B

Sporting a navy blue hull topped by a white superstructure, all repainted in a recent refit, Lady B  was designed by Stefano Natucci with interior design by Mauro Izzo. The yacht's Art Deco-inspired interior has accommodation for an owner's party of 12 in six cabins, with the master located on the main deck and VIP on the bridge deck. Up top, the sundeck boasts multiple sunbathing areas and a hot tub, while the recent $5,000,000 refit saw an updated tender garage-cum-beach club.

Amanti

Delivered in 2003 with two owners since, the yacht for sale was designed by De Voogt Naval Architects and sports an interior by the renowned Donald Starkey. She accommodates 13 guests in seven cabins, with a main deck owner's suite hosting a private office where there is access to the dressing room, which in turn leads to the bathroom with bath and shower room. Amanti's formal dining room can be closed off to form a boardroom, while the skylounge houses a games table and access to an al fresco dining table aft. An elevator serves all guest decks.

Amanti is asking $26,800,000 with joint central agents Burgess and Galati Yacht Sales.

Double Haven

Double Haven will be the first yacht to be showcased under the newly launched Feadship Resale division, "marking a milestone for both the iconic yacht and the innovative resale service". She had an extensive refit in 2024 and boasts a voluminous yacht with an interior space, by Glade Johnson, of enormous capacity thanks to its full-beam use. Her unique aft deck transforms the tender bay into a watersports activity centre with seamless access to the aft lounge on the main deck. Uniquely, the upper level was designed as a self-contained apartment with balcony, bathroom and private lounge for the original owners, who lived on board for extended periods of time.

Double Haven is asking €27,000,000 with Feadship Resale.

No Bad Ideas

Delivered in 2000 by US yard Trinity Yachts, the all-aluminium yacht No Bad Ideas underwent a two-year $20,000,000 refit, completed in 2024. "Every detail was carefully assessed and either replaced or renewed", according to the brokers, who also said she is "the most updated Trinity in existence". The yacht was designed by Setzer Yacht Architects with the interior refit completed by A La Mer. She features a fire pit in the forward seating area and a 10-person, glass-ended Jacuzzi on the flybridge, complete with a sit-up bar. The stern extension has created a "water level lounging space", along with another 10-person pool.

No Bad Ideas is asking $21,900,000 with Worth Avenue Yachts.

Victoria del Mar

Built in GRP by US yard Delta in 2006, Victoria Del Mar was designed in-house with an interior by Claudette Bonville Associates. She was refitted in 2018 and has accommodation for 14 guests in seven cabins. The king-sized master suite is located on the bridge deck aft and opens out onto a semi-private, fully enclosed aft deck with removable windows. Two VIP cabins are positioned on the main deck, while two doubles and two twin cabins can be found on the lower deck. The sundeck features an outdoor galley, a bar and a large HD cinema screen, setting the stage for the perfect al fresco cinema experience.

Victoria Del Mar is asking $19,895,000 with Northrop & Johnson.

Berilda

Berilda was built in 2001 by Dutch yard Feadship. The steel and aluminium yacht sports a beautiful, traditional interior by John Munford, complementing the exterior, which is classic De Voogt Feadship style. She was refitted from 2020 to 2022 when she had a full repaint. Berilda's interior boasts satin-finished mahogany panelling, "plush carpeting" and pale soft upholstery. The main saloon leads to a formal dining room forward while the bridge deck's lounge and bar open out to an al fresco dining table. Up on the sundeck, guests can watch the big screen television from the sit-up wet bar or cool off in the Jacuzzi forward, where there are ample sunpads.

Berilda is asking $17,950,000 with BR Marine Group and Camper & Nicholsons.

Tsumat

Tsumat will be on display at a substantially reduced new asking price, $9,000,000 less than when she joined the market. The yacht, with an aluminium hull and superstructure, was delivered by the US yard Trinity Yachts in 2012 to a design by Geoff Van Aller. Ramon Alonso created the interior that was most recently upgraded in 2023 in a "multi-million-dollar refit". The broker pointed out that Tsumat is the last of the Trinity 164 range.

Tsumat is now asking $17,499,000 with FGI Yacht Group.
