A $1,000,000 price drop has been made on the 43.3-metre Richmond motor yacht Calliope, on the market with Stuart Larsen at Fraser – now joined by joint central agents Northrop & Johnson's Wes Sanford and Ed Dickinson – and on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Delivered by Canadian yard Richmond in 2007, the 395 GT yacht was fully refitted in 2022 and remains in class. Continual upgrades have kept her in good condition throughout her life and she is a proven world traveller that has "cruised around the world on her own bottom", according to Larsen.
Her most recent refit focused on both aesthetic and functional changes. Her current owner, an experienced yachtsman, added a bulbous bow for improved seakeeping and fuel consumption, as well as making some improvements to her original Ron Holland design.
Calliope has a flexible accommodation layout which can be configured as either five or six cabins (with the option of using the captain's cabin for guest use), and she benefits from a full-beam owner's cabin with two bathrooms plus a gym-office hybrid – rare on a yacht of this size.
The GRP yacht has a good selection of al fresco areas for a new owner to make use of, including a sundeck fitted with a dayhead and whirlpool.
The yacht's C32 Caterpillar engines propel her to a top speed of 17 knots pared back to a cruising speed of 12 knots.
According to BOATPro, there are just three Richmond yachts for sale on the international market.
Calliope is now asking $12,900,000 and is on display at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
