The 49.9-metre motor yacht Gigi has been sold with Mark Osterhaven of Worth Avenue Yachts representing the seller and Chris Daves of Denison Yachting representing the buyer.
Built in GRP and delivered by US yard Westport in 2010, the fully wheelchair-accessible Westport 164 model was designed throughout by Donald Starkey with naval architecture by William Garden. A 2024 refit saw new teak decks and soft furnishings installed, while she was repainted at Rybovich in 2020 and had bridge electronics replaced in 2021.
Accommodation on board is for an owner's party of 12 in six cabins, the full-beam master suite having an office and private lounge. Her VIP king stateroom boasts a private balcony and there are a further two king-bedded cabins, two convertible twins and one twin-bunked cabin on the lower deck. Crew quarters allow for a team of up to 10.
Gigi's formal dining room with a 12-seater table is positioned forward of the main saloon, which opens to the aft deck. With an elevator serving all four decks, including the sundeck, up on the bridge deck there is more seating, a card table, television and direct access to the al fresco dining table and bar. Skylights in the solid bimini top give a bright ambience with some protection while the Jacuzzi, bordered by sunpads, is fully exposed to sunlight forward.
Gigi's interior design is described as "contemporary yet understated", with madrona burl and anigre woods and a warm colour palette with inlays of maple, pear and ebony. Michael Homchick of the Pacific Northwest crafted the stone installation, including onyx in the bathrooms.
Twin 3,650hp MTU diesels push the 499GT, ABS-classed yacht for sale to a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.
Gigi was asking $28,500,000.
