The 48.8-metre Trinity Yachts motor yacht No Bad Ideas is to be exhibited at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with Mark Osterhaven and Ralph Raulin of Worth Avenue Yachts.
Delivered in 2000, the all-aluminium yacht underwent a two-year $20,000,000 refit, completed in 2024, where "every detail was carefully assessed and either replaced or renewed", according to the brokers, who said she is "the most updated Trinity in existence".
The yacht was designed by Setzer Yacht Architects with the interior refit completed by A La Mer. Naval architecture is owed to Paragon Design. The focus was on exterior spaces, too, and No Bad Ideas now features a fire pit in the forward seating area and a 10-person, glass-ended Jacuzzi on the flybridge, complete with a sit-up bar. The stern extension has created a "waterlevel lounging space", along with another 10-person pool.
Accommodation includes a full-beam, main-deck master stateroom, a main-deck VIP, plus two VIPs and two convertible double cabins on the lower deck. There are quarters for a crew of 10.
Her ABS survey was recently completed and she is ready to go as a commercial charter operation. The owner is also prepared to sell a 50 per cent stake in the yacht for sale.
Twin 2,250hp Caterpillar diesels push the 488GT yacht at up to 23 knots with a cruising speed of 20 knots. Range is 6,000 knots at 12 knots.
Lying in the Bahamas, USA, No Bad Ideas is asking $21,900,000.
