Italian studio Hydro Tec has unveiled a new, 80-metre concept known as Valiant. The yacht has been named in honour of the British battleship which served in World War I and World War II.
To this end, Valiant's exterior has militaristic details tempered by streamlined, automotive lines. A design highlight is the all-seasons beach club which is directly connected to guest areas and features an infinity pool and spa with sauna.
Accommodation includes a forward-facing owner's cabin featuring a fireplace, lounge seating and a private outdoor area. This space is accessed by sliding glass doors port and starboard and arranged with sunloungers spread across the bow, sofa seating and a waterfall Jacuzzi. Valiant's interiors are a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian styles, with renderings revealing the use of light woods, marble accents and staircases with crystal and gold detailing.
The dining area is also worthy of note, positioned laterally across the main saloon and designed with an open kitchen, curved windows and a balcony for spontaneous open-air dining.
Hydro Tec is responsible for the exterior design of Cantiere delle Marche's new flagship series, the Flexplorer 165, with hull one and hull two already sold to a European and US buyer, respectively.
The studio also recently shared a 48-metre concept with BOAT International called Sagasu, said to "effectively embody all the characteristics of an explorer yacht" in a 500GT package.
