Hydro Tec has revealed a new Japanese-inspired superyacht concept named Sagasu. The 48-metre yacht represents the first tangible outcome of the new strategic partnership established by Hydro Tec with Hong Kong-based ISEO Yachting Ltd.
According to the studio, Sagasu "effectively embodies all the characteristics of an explorer yacht" in a 500 GT package.
Accommodation includes an owner's area with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private Jacuzzi, central fireplace and a 70-square-metre private terrace. Designed with internal stairs, the 11-strong crew quarters provide direct access to the garage area where the rescue tender and customised exploration tender are located. Renderings reveal a light, contemporary interior aesthetic that incorporates integrated lighting, minimalist furniture and a white and blue colour palette.
Elsewhere, Sagasu has ample leisure opportunities across three decks, including a plunge pool on the bow and a selection of fixed sunpads, loungers and al fresco sofa seating. The beach club features folding terraces, an infinity pool and a modular arrangement of seating and sunbathing.
"Being able to offer our clients and shipyard yards in Asia such a deep level of knowledge and passion is unique and will empower us to exceed our client's expectations," said Iseo Yachting co-founder Adam Blackmore. "Sagasu is a testament to this – I have used all my years in Asia working with and listening to clients and put it into this project. Having gone through the same process, a client would when designing their own yacht was an unbelievable experience. Of course, my ideas and vision are nothing without the expert team from Hydro Tec, making it the reality you see here."
