Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts has announced the launch of a full-custom 58-metre named Diamond Binta. The superyacht will make her world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show before embarking on her maiden journey through the Mediterranean.
Diamond Binta has been designed by long-time Tankoa collaborator Francesco Paszkowski Design and has been conceived as a "worldwide explorer” with a sporty style and a range of over 5,000 nautical miles.
Margherita Casprini has worked with Paszkowski on the interior of the yacht to create a contemporary theme with a neutral colour palette and plenty of wood and gloss finishes. Accommodation is spread across six cabins including an owner's cabin with fold-out balcony.
Other amenities include a forward helideck, a large beach club with a spa and massage room and a sundeck set up with a gym and pool. A garage will be able to accommodate a nine-metre limo tender and a glass-encased corridor will stretch from the beach club to the cabins directly through the engine room, offering a glimpse at the inner workings of the superyacht.
"I am proud of this project, which represents an evolution from the owner’s previous 50-metre Binta D'Or [now Sp1]," said Eva Orsi, president of Tankoa Yachts. Her timeless design combined with cutting-edge solutions is the result of teamwork between the client, designers, and shipyard, blending elegance and functionality. This construction confirms Tankoa's reputation as a boutique shipyard."
According to BOATPro, Tankoa Yachts has nine units on order or actively in build. This includes the 49.9-metre Rilassata, which was launched earlier this month.
