There is still time to enter your nominations for The Honours 2025, celebrating the unsung heroes and inspiring individuals who have made a meaningful impact through the superyacht industry.
Now in its third edition, The Honours – organised by Superyacht Life Foundation (SYLF) and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) – will continue its journey through key yachting hubs and the event will be held in the US at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
“We are taking The Honours on a journey to share our stories with new audiences," said Dilan Saraç, Executive Director at SYLF. "Together with our valued partners, we are expanding our reach while staying true to our mission. We deeply appreciate [the Monaco Yacht Show’s] support over the past two years in making The Honours a success, and as we bring it to FLIBS with Informa, we look forward to continuing this journey and celebrating the yachting community worldwide.”
Past honourees to receive the prestigious Bowsprit award include philanthropist and 11th Hour Racing founder Wendy Schmidt, renowned explorer and Pangaea X incubation programme founder Mike Horn and Nick Entwisle, founder of charity Yachting Gives Back, among others.
The awards committee welcome nominations for individuals in the superyacht industry who deserve special recognition. This could be for acts of altruism, innovation or exceptional contributions – whether through groundbreaking projects, inspirational work or personal initiatives that have made a lasting positive impact.
Nominations close on Thursday 15 May, after which a panel of industry experts will select three honourees to be celebrated at The Honours ceremony on Tuesday 28 October, in Fort Lauderdale.
