Seventh Baglietto T52 hits the water

The seventh unit in Italian shipyard Baglietto's popular 52-metre T52 series has been launched and named Moneikos. The yacht was sold in 2022, with delivery scheduled for June 2025. Manuele Thiella and Tommaso Chiabra from Royal Yacht International, representing the owner, attended the launch.

The 52-metre Baglietto T52 is a sporty hybrid yacht and the new flagship of the yard’s T-Line range. The displacement vessel has all the style traditionally associated with Baglietto but with "future-facing technology." Francesco Paszkowski designed with slender, sinuous lines, and the designer also penned the unit’s interiors in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.

The interior design is chic and contemporary, providing accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins.

One of the key features revolves around close contact with the sea, thanks to the yard's signature open stern featuring a beach club that develops over three levels. The large pool on the main deck can easily be concealed thanks to an up-down moving flooring system, which further extends the available deck surface when the pool is not being used to provide extra deck space for large parties.

The main deck swimming pool is complemented by a second pool on the 24-metre-long sundeck, where guests can enjoy al fresco dining experiences with uninterrupted views. On the upper deck, wide floor-to-ceiling windows open on three sides create a pleasant "al fresco" lounge.

At the bow, an original retractable staircase directly connects the sundeck to a bimini area on the upper deck forward of the wheelhouse.

Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto said: "We always eagerly look forward to a new launch – and this year will be savouring this special moment an impressive seven times. This is a truly extraordinary figure for a shipyard like ours: a boutique shipyard committed to consistently delivering world-class products."

The vessel is equipped with two Caterpillar C32 engines that will push her to a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. The yacht will feature a large battery bank to reduce noise, vibration, fuel consumption and emissions.
