The 43.28 metre motor yacht Playpen has been sold by Ralph Raulin at Worth Avenue Yachts and James Auld at SuperYachtsMonaco, with Stuart Larsen at Fraser introducing the buyer.
Constructed in GRP by Canadian yard Richmond Yachts, the yacht’s exterior was penned by Setzer Yacht Architects who also developed the naval architecture. Playpen was delivered in 2007 as one of the shipyard’s Richmond 142 models.
An interior by Sean Pavlik offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins, comprising a full beam master suite, a VIP suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. All cabins aboard this yacht for sale have entertainment centres and full en suite bathroom facilities.
Her main saloon includes two large custom sofas and an ottoman alongside a custom designed table. For entertainment, guests can access a fixed Sony TV and a Kaleidescape audio and video media server.
Standout exterior features include a sun deck with a circular bar that wraps around the Jacuzzi spa tub with comfortable bar stools to seat four guests. Further seating is found forward on this deck, with sun loungers and a barbecue sheltered underneath a hardtop.
Her aft deck features four custom-made sun loungers overlooking the ocean, while sea toys can be launched from her spacious beach club.
Twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines power Playpen to a top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots, while a range of 3,000 nautical miles is possible at 12 knots.
Playpen was asking $13,500,000.
