On the market: Five standout superyachts for sale under 50m

When it comes to looking for your next superyacht, the choice can sometimes be challenging between a smaller vessel or one packed with features and amenities. But why compromise? BOAT rounds up five standout superyachts currently listed for sale that are under 50 metres...

Serenissima I

Length: 47.5m

Famed for her host of remarkable onboard features, including that of a "gentleman's club" – complete with a walk-in wine cellar and a retro-red Berkel flywheel meat slicer – and a boxing ring sprawled across the foredeck, is Mengi-Yay's Serenissima I. Built for an owner with a love of sports, it was Italian designer Nuvolari Lenard who took on the challenge of packing more than meets the eye into this angular grey motor yacht. Alongside amenities, she has a sundeck that is "one of the largest in this category of yachts" complete with a mini pool and on the main deck aft there is a classic 1961 Riva Ariston tender displayed like a piece of art. Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in five cabins. 

Serenissima I is asking €34,950,000 with Northrop & Johnson.

SpaceCat

A current cool "cat" on the brokerage market is the Australian-built catamaran SpaceCat. Recently hitting television screens in season three of the acclaimed HBO series, The White Lotus, there is no doubt as to why the 35.9 metre was chosen for the part. Designed by world renowned yacht designer Espen Øino, the twin hulled superyacht features an impressive 13.3-metre beam, three decks and more than 534 square metres of living space; a highlight of which is the rare 5.5-metre, 10,000-litre pool surrounded by shaded lounging areas and a bar. Inside, Pulina Exclusive Interiors has created contemporary, warm and inviting interiors for up to eight guests in four cabins.

SpaceCat is asking $18,800,000 with Burgess and IYC.

Club M

Year: 2020

Multi-award winner Club M is a standout on the current brokerage market. In 2021, she took home both the "Best Motor Yacht, 40-50m" at the World Superyacht Awards and the "Best Motor Yacht, Interior Design under 499GT" at the Design & Innovation Awards. It was her "strikingly masculine" Horacio Bozzo Design exterior and "intricate" Salvagni Architetti interior that attracted the judges, with particular note given to her "huge and most unusual" upper deck al fresco living area. The yacht was praised for the high-quality finish found on board, with Salvagni incorporating soft curves, well-conceived lighting and freestanding furniture to create a relaxing haven for up to 12 guests, who are accommodated in a five-cabin layout.

Club M is asking €16,900,000 with Christie Yachts, following a new €1,000,000 price reduction.

K+

Length: 38.2m

Year: 2022

A "masterpiece of contemporary design" is the Italian built K+. Designed by Marco Ciampa, the motor yacht unsurprisingly draws attention with her black and boxy superstructure and extensive angular glazing. The futuristic appearance continues inside, with her minimalist Pulina Exclusive Interiors complete with features including a striking geometric ceiling in the main saloon, whose lines are accentuated with bright lighting. K+'s beach club is enviable at 80 square metres long and is packed with a galley and wine cellar. Meanwhile, her large upper deck owner's suite is fitted with an almost al fresco bed, thanks to sweeping glass doors leading to a private deck aft. K+ has five cabins for up to ten guests.

K+ is asking €16,500,000 with Denison Yachting and SuperYachtsMonaco.

Asgard

Length: 42.8m
Builder: Abeking & Rasmussen
Year: 1993

A cool superyacht isn't limited to a modern one. Such is the case with the classical ketch-rigged sailing yacht Asgard. The result of a full-custom design from Bruce King and Winch, brought to life by Abeking & Rasmussen, this double-masted superyacht bears the "hallmarks of traditional yachting elegance", according to her broker, alongside attractive sailing performance. In terms of racing, she has two famous regatta wins under her belt (the Superyacht Cup and the Rolex Maxi Worlds), while on board, she offers amenities including a split-level saloon with a grand stairway, gas stove and an Oculus eight-sided central skylight. Guests will also note the hand-painted artwork on each of the saloon's panels. Accommodation is for eight in four cabins.

Asgard is asking €8,900,000 with Moravia Yachting.
