The 44.2-metre Pendennis sailing catamaran, Hemisphere, is newly listed for sale with Henry Craven-Smith of Burgess.
Built in 2011 and refitted in 2023, the yacht sports a "sensational interior" by Michael Leach Design and was designed for "off-the-beaten-track exploration". Her exterior and naval architecture are by renowned multihull designers Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost (VPLP Design).
She sleeps a party of 10 to 12 guests across five cabins, including two "principal suites", two doubles and a twin with two additional Pullman berths. With a 16.6-metre beam, her saloon and deck spaces are vast and "comparable to those of a 70-metre (monohull)". There are quarters for a crew of up to 10.
A flybridge, sporting a Jacuzzi between the twin helm stations, and an al fresco dining area, provides the perfect vantage point to look out from and shout "Land Ahoy!" as the palm trees of the Tuamotu islands appear on the horizon. Hemisphere has been chartering in French Polynesia and comes with a substantial inventory of watersports equipment.
Shaded al fresco dining and on-deck relaxation are taken on the expanse of the teak deck below the cantilevered overhang. A trampoline at the bow entices guests to sprawl out and enjoy the sensation of speed over the water.
The 499GT, BV-classed yacht for sale has two 490hp Caterpillar engines giving her a top speed of 13 knots and cruising speed of 11 knots, with a range of 3,850 nautical miles. With a shallow draught of 3.1 metres Hemisphere is perfect for avoiding coral reefs and anchoring inside the atolls.
A 16.4-metre custom sports fishing tender for shore excursions, diving and fishing trips is available by separate negotiation.
Lying in Tahiti, French Polynesia, Hemisphere is asking €46,000,000.
