Oyster sailing yacht Ayni sold

6 June 2022 • Written by Tom McGhie

The 27.08 metre Oyster sailing yacht Ayni has been sold in-house at Edmiston & Company with Simon Goldsworthy representing both buyer and seller.

Built in GRP by British yard Oyster to a design by Rob Humphreys Yacht Design, Ayni was delivered in 2017 as hull number eight of the Oyster 885 series. Accommodation is for up to seven guests across three generous cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite, a double and a twin cabin with an additional Pullman berth, all with en suite shower facilities.

Ayni was asking €5,600,000

Ayni boasts a full-beam salon with 2.5 metres of headroom thanks to an upgraded raised deckhouse design – the only 885 to have both – and a highly desirable L-shaped owner’s suite with its own small lounge.

On deck, ample space is located aft for socialising, with sun loungers and sun pads on hand to provide guests with panoramic views of the ocean.

Other key features include a carbon fibre mast and boom, twin rudders, bowsprit with code-zero capabilities, a spacious swim platform and a recessed tender.

Under power, a 330 Cummins diesel engine allows a cruising speed of eight knots topping out at 11 knots.

Ayni was asking €5,600,000.
