The 60.8-metre expedition yacht Omnia has been sold, with Serafeim Papadopoulos of Seara Maritime representing the seller and Charlie Veale of Balance Yachting representing the buyer.
Delivered in 1974 by Dutch shipyard Amels,Omnia was initially launched as the all-steel Fomalhaut, commissioned by the Royal Netherlands Navy as a pilot project for submarine technology development. She was officially retired after 25 years of service and went on to explore the world for many years before a sale in 2020 kickstarted her extensive, 14-month structural, mechanical and cosmetic refit at the cost of around $14,000,000. The refit works were carried out by brokerage, refit and management firm Seara Maritime.
Omnia was "reborn" in 2022, showcasing the work of H2 Yacht Design and Karageorgiou Interiors, which included a full exterior repaint, a superstructure extension, the addition of a brand-new saloon on the upper deck and a new Jacuzzi area on the sun deck. Her works were so impressive that she was nominated for Best Rebuild at the World Superyacht Awards.
Omnia was listed for sale by Seara Maritime in 2023 post-refit. It is also worth highlighting that the firm initially introduced the buyer to the yacht's previous owner.

The remaining guest accommodation is found on the main deck, comprising four guest cabins, one of which is also fitted with an attached children’s cabin. There are further quarters for a crew of 20.
At 972GT, Omnia offers numerous dining and lounge areas on board. Her new interiors are bright and feel considerably spacious thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, with light wood panelling and pops of navy blue for a nautical touch.
Her main saloon is expansive, complete with a formal lounge area that leads to an equally formal main dining room. Meanwhile, on the upper deck, a sky lounge offers a more relaxed setting with three sofas, a bar and a games table. A newly installed elevator serves all decks.
Outside, Omnia features a variety of al fresco spaces to choose from. Aft of the upper deck is a dining table seating 12 in addition to a circular sofa which overlooks the stern. Her new sundeck is now host to a Jacuzzi flanked by a semi-circular sunpad, while a bar and dining area are just footsteps away.
Another highlight is the lower deck, where guests will find a full spa with Hammam, sauna, massage room and beauty saloon – a new addition during her refit.
Powered by triple 576hp Deutz diesel engines, the motor yacht can reach top speeds of 13 knots and cruises comfortably at 11 knots with a range of 6,500 nautical miles. She is also RINA classed.
Omnia was last asking €23,000,000.
