The 27.43 metre motor yacht Moon Dancer has changed central agency and is now listed for sale with Rick Obey & Associates.
Built in GRP by Canada's McQueen yard to a design by Ed Monk Jr,Moon Dancer was delivered in 2003 with many upgrades since. Accommodation is spacious and well laid out for six guests in three cabins including a full beam master suite with a king size bed plus a VIP and double cabin, both with queen size beds. All cabins on this yacht for sale have full en suite bathroom facilities with heating under the granite floors.
An interior by Jon Pokela features several custom glass fittings and uses five different types of wood to maximum effect. The aft deck is well suited for al fresco entertaining and dining with an expandable teak table seating eight guests while the saloon and dining area are open plan. In the saloon is a large sofa and two armchairs along with coffee tables and a 1950 vintage Steinway upright piano plus a 50 inch pop-up plasma television screen along with stereo surround sound. The dining area boasts a particularly fine mahogany and madrona burl dining table and the entire saloon has oversized windows glazed with bronze-tinted glass.
The flybridge has an upper helm station covered by a Bimini top and has seating for five people in separate helm chairs. In the starboard aft area of the flybridge is a large built-in L-shaped settee (with uninterrupted storage beneath the full length of the seat) and two tables. Behind the settee is a six-person hot tub. To port and starboard are large sun beds with storage beneath. Forward of these is a Gaggenau electric grill and fridge.
Designed and built as a long-range cruiser, her twin 800hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a comfortable cruising speed of 10 knots.
