News just in from Fraser Yachts that Antoine Larricq has listed for sale the 25.52 metre explorer yacht Santandrea.
Built in steel by Italian yard Solimano, she was delivered in 1961 as a powerful coastal tug. Santandrea was converted into an explorer yacht in 1997 and received a new 1,589hp Caterpillar main engine in 2005, giving her a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Accommodation is comfortable and includes a master suite on the main deck, a VIP stateroom aft on the lower deck with two guest cabins forward, each with double bunk beds, and all staterooms have en suite bathroom facilities.
The huge aft deck features a large sunbathing area covering the hydraulic gangway and there is a relaxation area for cocktails or casual dining with five large sofas and a coffee table. This area could be easily closed in order to create a winter saloon usable whatever the weather and sea conditions are.
Aft of the wheelhouse is a large sun deck offering yet another area for al fresco entertainment. Amenities include an outdoor kitchen equipped with a sink, electric hob unit, a fridge and two freezers.
Lying in Monaco, Santandrea is asking €2.7 million.
