Finally, and mercifully, falling asleep in a guest cabin on Talitha after being crazed with seasickness during her first voyage from Devonport to London where she ran for shelter on the Dorset coast amidst huge seas

The plates and cups made for me by my kids when they were small
Where’s the best place to draw design inspiration from?
To channel your inner sponge, and soak up architecture, history, typography, fashion, transport, design….
What do you look forward to after a long week at work?
A Negroni. Maarten at Feadship can validate this philosophy. Not necessarily just for end of week though.
Where’s the best place in Monaco to escape the crowds during the boat show?
I have absolutely no idea
What’s the craziest thing a client’s ever requested of you?
We’re quite looking forward to dressing and positioning the full-size Elton John waxwork on our 82-metre new build currently in Italy. He will sit at the custom-paintjob Steinway.

Greece has a permanent place on this list, but mountains also provide anti-frazzling capabilities
