The 36 metre catamaran SpaceCat has been sold to an Asian client, with the yard acting as the seller.
Known as hull 801, the project is currently under construction by Australian yard Silver Yachts with delivery slated for July 2022. The recently sold project is the first hull in the yard’s Silvercat series.
Spacecat features the external design of Espen Oeino International, while the vibrant interiors have been penned by Pulina Exclusive Interiors. The yacht’s design boasts the same lightweight low resistance hull technology that Silver Yachts are renowned for.
Making full use of her 13.3 metre beam and 400GT of interior space, Spacecat accommodates up to 10 guests in four cabins, with a main deck master suite and three cabins with two Pullman berths.
Stand out features include a large swimming pool on the aft deck, with large doors leading through to the main saloon and dining area. Ample seating is provided via an L-shaped settee and two armchairs while frequent large windows supply natural light.
Above, al fresco dining and sun loungers are found on the upper aft deck, while the sundeck boasts tender storage aft with sun lounging and sun pads forward.
At Spacecat’s stern, her two hulls can be connected by a hydraulic platform which creates a spacious beach club.
Twin Marin diesel engines are set to provide her with a top speed of 20 knots.
The asking price for SpaceCat was withheld.
