Numarine announces flagship explorer yacht model

1 April 2025 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Turkish shipyard Numarine has added a new explorer yacht model to its portfolio. At 46.7 metres, the 47MXP is the yard's largest offering and is based on its slightly smaller sibling, the 45XP, which was released last year.

The 47MXP is the second model in the "Mediterranean Explorer" range, which combines the "beach-club lifestyle" of European yachting with the steel construction and long-range capabilities of an explorer. The new flagship features a redesigned aft and beach club area that sets it apart from the 45XP, featuring balconies and a lounge zone meant to emulate the layout of luxury resorts.

Other design highlights include two pools – one in the bow and the other in the beach club – and an open upper deck for tender storage or outdoor sports. For group gatherings or parties, the sundeck is envisioned as the major social hub, equipped with a bar and multiple seating areas.

Interiors are courtesy of Milanese studio Hot Lab, a long-standing collaborator, with details undisclosed but described as "warm and elegant". Accommodation is across six guest cabins and a main deck owner's suite, complete with private terrace.

Key specs of the new flagship include a volume of 498GT, a range of 6,000 nautical miles and a 9.25-metre beam. Numarine chairman, Ömer Malaz, confirmed that the yard already has several clients interested in the new model.

The first "Mediterranean Explorer" series, the 40MXP, is already under construction with delivery scheduled for this year.
