AES Yacht has christened its custom 34.6-metre superyacht Mereley I. She was launched at the shipyard's Istanbul site in February 2024 and has been ready for delivery since June 2024.
Construction was started in 2022 on speculation and the yacht is currently listed for sale with David Westwood and Vedat Kohen of TWW Yachts with an asking price of €13,950,000.
Designed inside and out by Milan-based studio Hot Lab, Mereley I has a six-cabin layout and carries a complement of seven crew. Interiors are contemporary, using a mix of monochrome tones offset by splashes of cool blue and bright turquoise. Grey soft furnishings are balanced by blonde wood accents and high-gloss ebony finishes.
Natural light is a key design element of the yacht's social spaces. Floor-to-ceiling windows illuminate the skylounge which benefits from a bar, lounge area and direct deck access through sliding glass doors. The main saloon has an alternative lounge area, which is adjoined by formal dining for up to 10 guests.
The owner's suite can be found on the main deck, accessed via an elegantly styled corridor. It benefits from a vanity, lounge area and forward en suite and makes the most of the yacht's 7.6-metre beam.
The remaining guest accommodation is found on the lower deck amidships. Aft of the lower deck is the beach club area, which is compact and well-designed with integrated lighting solutions that contribute to the sense of space.
In terms of al fresco living, the yacht has a sundeck with a forward Jacuzzi, various seating options and a bar. Meanwhile, the upper deck has an exterior dining arrangement and the main deck cockpit has an alternative lounge area that's well-suited to sunbathing and relaxing.
The foredeck has a fourth seating space that offers prime views with both sunpads and a pair of coffee tables.
The yacht has a smaller 24-metre sistership with a similar configuration. She is currently under construction at the AES Yacht facility in the Kocaeli Free Zone, which covers 40,000 square metres and has capacity to accommodate yachts of up to 110 metres in an enclosed shed.
Powered by twin MAN engines, Mereley I has a top speed of 14 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles when cruising at 11.5 knots.
Alongside the two sub-40-metre models, AES Yacht is also constructing the 68-metre Ice, which is currently for sale with Fraser. The yacht is a fellow Hot Lab design, with unfolding sea terraces, impressive head heights and a sizeable aft deck swimming pool.
