35m AES Yacht explorer Mereley I rejoins market under new CA

30 January 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

AES Yacht's 34.6-metre explorer yacht Mereley I has rejoined the brokerage market under a new central agency with Deniz Kaymaz of Northrop & Johnson.

Launched in 2024, Mereley I  was constructed on speculation in 2022 by Turkish shipyard AES Yacht and has been seeking a new owner since hitting the water. Nicknamed the "pocket explorer", the 34.6-metre is a small but highly capable expedition vessel, packed into a striking blue exterior design by Italian design studio Hot Lab. Inside, she is just as dramatic, with her contemporary monochrome interiors also penned by the Milan-based designers.

Lying in Athens, Mereley I is asking €13,950,000

Up to 12 guests can be accommodated across five cabins on board. A full-beam owner's suite is located at the bow of the main deck with a central king-sized bed, wall-mounted 55 inch TV, walk in wardrobe, office space and forward en suite. Fitted with extensive glazing, the cabin and its dark hard woods and marble-detailed ceiling are flooded with natural light. The full marble bathroom also benefits from the same spotlit treatment.

The remaining guest cabins are comprised of two VIP cabins and two twins, all en suite and situated amidships on the lower deck. Meanwhile, there are berths for a crew of seven.

Natural light is a prominent design element throughout Mereley I 's interior. Her skylounge features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer far-flung views from the bar and lounge area while sliding glass doors provide direct deck access to another dining space. The main deck saloon is also bright and airy, home to an alternative lounging space with L-shaped sofa and a dining table seating up to 10.

For al fresco living and dining, the sundeck features a forward Jacuzzi, bar and sun loungers. The upper deck is also fitted with a dining table and the foredeck has yet another seating space with sunpads and coffee tables.

A notable feature of the "pocket explorer" is her multi-functional aft swim platform. Equipped for tenders or Waverunners it is directly connected to a "beach house" with sofa, mini-fridge and skylights.

Powered by twin MAN engines, the yacht for sale has a top speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range of 3,800 nautical miles when cruising at 11.5 knots. She is presented to the market with under 100 engine hours as well as RINA-certification.

Mereley I is asking €13,950,000, currently lying in Athens.
