WRITTEN FOR OCEAN ALEXANDER

With the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2025 just around the corner, BOAT gets a sneak peek at what’s in store. Among the standout exhibitors, Taiwanese shipyard Ocean Alexander is set to make a strong impression once again, showcasing nearly its entire product range along with fresh design features and updated styling options.

Legend: Classic yachting at its finest

28L

28L

At 29 metres, the 28L is the smallest model in Ocean Alexander’s Legend series, which debuted just last year. Designed to appeal to the brand’s core American clientele - who appreciate a more traditional yachting lifestyle - this model delivers all the features of its larger sibling, the 32L, in a more accessible package, making it the ideal entry-level yacht in the range.

Penned by UK-based designer Evan K. Marshall, the 28L introduces a versatile new dining concept on the main deck. A pocket door system allows owners to switch between a closed, more formal dining experience and a more interactive setting, where the galley can be opened up for owner-led cooking or a chef’s table ambiance.

Up on the bridge deck, relaxation takes centre stage. Guests can enjoy a sit-up bar in the enclosed skylounge or step outside to the aft deck for al fresco lounging – the perfect retreat for quality time with family and friends.

The ideal entry-level yacht in the range

A versatile social hub ideal for everything from sunbathing to al fresco dining

37L

The 37L stands as the largest model in the Legend series at 35.5 metres, offering all the features of the 28L, along with even more space.

One of its most striking additions is the expansive sundeck, where guests can unwind in the Jacuzzi or take in sweeping ocean views from the U-shaped sofa. The foredeck also boasts new sunpads, creating a serene space for quiet relaxation or intimate conversations.

The bridge deck aft has been significantly enhanced, transforming into a versatile social hub ideal for everything from sunbathing to al fresco dining . Meanwhile, the accommodations on board have been refined for greater owner exclusivity - the owner’s suite is now positioned forward on the main deck, offering panoramic views through expansive windows, while guest cabins remain on the lower deck for added privacy.

Explorer: Built for adventure

28E

28E

For those seeking an entry-level explorer yacht, the 28E is a compelling option. At 28.8 metres, it is designed again by Marshall for adventurous owners who enjoy extended time at sea, with its more vertical bow that maximises interior space while maintaining efficiency and performance.

The full-beam master suite is a sanctuary for long voyages, complete with a beautifully designed stone-clad en suite bathroom. Meanwhile, the skylounge and flybridge provide inviting entertainment spaces, each boasting panoramic views, plush seating, a wet bar and a custom-made grill for al fresco dining. Guests can also enjoy waterfront relaxation with the multifunctional aft platform, offering easy access to the water and ample storage for water toys.

Revolution: A modern take on yachting

27R

The Revolution line embraces a contemporary yachting lifestyle

27R

Distinct from the Legend series, Ocean Alexander’s Revolution line embraces a contemporary yachting lifestyle, and the 27R serves as the perfect entry point to this forward-thinking range.

Marshall introduces a fresh take on onboard dining on this 26.9-metre with a new galley door system. Similar to the Legend series, this design allows owners to transition between open and closed layouts, but in the Revolution series, the dining area is positioned forward of the main saloon. Multiple access points - including a primary entrance from the starboard corridor, a concealed port-side door and direct access to the side deck - enhance service efficiency for the crew.

For those who enjoy al fresco living, the spacious bridge deck aft offers an inviting setting for open-air dining, featuring two large L-shaped sofas perfect for post-dinner relaxation. Meanwhile, the beach club serves as a key social hub, providing a climate-controlled lounge that connects to the swim platform, allowing guests to unwind with uninterrupted views of the water.

30R

Building upon the success of the 27R, the 30R takes the Revolution series to the next level with even more space and comfort. At 29.7 metres, it retains all the signature features of its smaller sibling, the standout upgrade being the full-beam owner’s stateroom on the main deck. This private retreat is enhanced with a significantly larger en suite, complete with ample space for a standalone bathtub - perfect for unwinding after a day on the water.

The increased volume is felt throughout, making every area more spacious and inviting. The main deck aft features an expansive U-shaped sofa, connecting to the beach club and swim platform below for trendy indoor-outdoor living. Meanwhile, the bridge deck transforms into an entertainment haven, offering a generous aft deck with a Jacuzzi, al fresco dining and ample lounging space. Forward, the bow is another prime relaxation spot, with oversized sunpads and adjacent seating ideal for soaking up the views.

The 35R takes space, luxury and onboard comfort to the next level

35R

As the flagship of Ocean Alexander’s Revolution series, the 35R takes space, luxury and onboard comfort to the next level. Designed for those who seek the ultimate in modern yachting, the 35.2-metre model introduces new layout refinements and expanded living areas.

One of the most notable changes is the relocation of the crew quarters to the bow, freeing up space for a vast beach club on the lower deck. This impressive waterside retreat now includes a fully equipped gym, offering owners and guests a private wellness space with direct access to the ocean.

The bridge deck is another standout feature, designed with even greater separation between guest and crew areas. The wheelhouse is positioned independently from the skylounge, ensuring a more private and relaxed onboard experience.

For those who crave the outdoors, the newly added sundeck provides an additional level of luxury. This elevated space is perfect for unwinding, whether enjoying a drink at the sit-up bar or soaking up the sun in the Jacuzzi.

Puro: American living meets Italian style

35P

Following its debut at last year’s Palm Beach International Boat Show, Ocean Alexander’s newest series, Puro, returns to the spotlight with the world premiere of its second hull. While the first 35P featured a striking metallic grey hull, this latest edition will showcase a gleaming white exterior, offering a fresh take on the model’s design.

Renowned Italian designer Giorgio Cassetta brings a touch of European refinement to the Puro series, marking his first collaboration with the shipyard. Owners have the choice between two distinct interior styles: Nautique, seen in hull number one, embraces a more traditional yachting aesthetic with bold contrasts, while Sereno, featured in the new Palm Beach debut, presents a softer, neutral palette that creates a modern and calming atmosphere.

This infusion of European styling has resonated with Ocean Alexander’s predominantly American clientele, establishing Puro as a standout addition to the shipyard’s portfolio - with additional sizes in the series set to be unveiled soon.
