Lürssen has delivered 91 metre superyacht Lady Lara, previously known as Project Orchid, after she successfully completed sea trials in the summer.
Lady Lara hit the water in September 2013 with a big splash during her technical launch. She was spotted on sea trials in July earlier this year and has just been photographed on her way to Norway for her maiden voyage and crew training trip.
Lady Lara has a full displacement hull and an aluminium superstructure. Her exterior and interior design comes from Reymond Langton.
Earlier this year Lürssen revealed that Lady Lara was designed around creating a harmonious balance. She has a feminine elegance when viewed at a distance, thanks to her sweeping curves and elegant proportions that allow her masculine details to emerge. Lady Lara's sharp lines define her strong, sculpted surfaces, showing her ample deck space accommodating everything from sun worshipping and entertaining to intimate, formal spaces.
Lady Lara will be privately used, heading to Florida, the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean islands for the winter season.
