From 12 to 16 February, the Miami International Boat Show will be hosting brokers, owners and yachting enthusiasts across six locations – with a staggering 100,000+ visitors expected to attend. Bold - 85.3m

A popular charter yacht, the all-aluminium explorer yacht Bold  sprung from the drawing boards of veteran designer Espen Øino. Her military-inspired profile features vast outdoor entertaining areas complete with al fresco bar, Teppanyaki grill, outdoor cinema, eight-person Jacuzzi and a cosy lounge surrounding a firepit. She also has a helipad and hangar that can be converted into a disco, as well as 400 square metres of deck space that accommodates a 15-metre tender with crane, in addition to a complete list of toys and scuba diving equipment on board. Bold can accommodate up to 12 guests and 20 crew.

Laurel - 73.2m

Builder: Delta Marine
Year: 2006
Designer: Donald Starkey, Delta Design

Laurel was delivered as the flagship of this Seattle-based yard and the largest yacht built in the US in 75 years. Accommodation is across seven cabins, including a master cabin with two private terraces and a convertible cabin that can be used as a sauna room. On deck, she features a fully-equipped gym, with a library that converts into a private cinema. An elevator provides wheelchair access to all guest decks, while an ultra-modern stabilisation system eases roll motion effect, ensuring onboard comfort. In 2023 she underwent a range of upgrades including a fresh hull paint, new teak on the foredeck and interior changes.

Laurel is asking $69,500,000 with IYC and will be anchored nearby.

Marguerite – 61.3m

Builder: Lürssen
Year: 2004
Designer: Winch Design, Espen Øino International, Moffit Design

Marguerite was built under the supervision of the Moran new construction team, with a design brief that requested a private owner’s area, professional dive centre, hefty tender storage and the ability to cruise for thirty days at a time. The owner's cabin is a particular highlight, spanning two decks and designed with an observation lounge, access to a private foredeck and a floating staircase that leads to an upper deck study. The yacht benefitted from a full interior refit after a change in ownership at the end of 2021.

Marguerite is asking $43,750,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship.

Starfire - 54m

Builder: Benetti
Year: 1998
Designer: Stefano Natucci, Francois Zuretti, Claudette Bonville

Constructed in steel and aluminium, Starfire's displacement hull design delivers impressive speeds and notable comfort while cruising. As an MCA commercially registered vessel, the Italian-built yacht offers accommodation for up to 14 guests across six cabins (including a full-beam, main-deck owner's suite and an upper-deck VIP queen cabin), alongside an array of al fresco entertaining spaces and spacious yet cosy Art Deco interior saloons designed by Francois Zuretti. Notable features include a glass-enclosed fitness centre, outdoor cinema, hexagon-shaped Jacuzzi and gold sinks in the owner's en suite. She was last refitted in 2023 following extensive upgrades in 2019. 

Starfire is asking $15,490,000 with IYC and Northrop & Johnson and will be anchored nearby.

Carte Blanche – 49.1m

The first of the American shipyard's popular 160 series, Carte Blanche  was built in GRP to ABS class. A highlight of the 49.1-metre is her interiors; refreshed in 2019, they are decorated in dark mahogany and light marbles, providing accommodation for up to 15 guests across six cabins. Alongside spacious cabins, Carte Blanche's four decks are home to a Jacuzzi, touch-and-go helipad, swim platform, lift that services all decks and a wide array of water toys. 

Carte Blanche is asking $24,900,000 with IYC and will be anchored nearby.

Tasia - 48.2m

Builder: Feadship
Year: 1997
Designers: Guido De Groot, Frits De Voogt, John Munford

Known for her major 2022 refit with works comprising more than €3.4 million, Feadship's Tasia is a Dutch heritage yacht with a Deco-Caribbean twist. Up to 12 guests are accommodated in five cabins, including a king-sized master suite with a steam shower and an elevated Jacuzzi that lies beneath a skylight. Her main saloon is light and airy, punctuated by pops of colourful and Caribbean-inspired finishes with a lounging area, library space and formal dining area. Her sundeck offers not only a Jacuzzi, barbecue grill and sunpads for relaxing, but also a protected gym space for outdoor training. There’s also a dedicated dive shop on board.

Tasia is asking $17,900,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship.

Tanzanite - 44.2m

Year: 2004
Designers: Westship, Innovative Creations Interior Design

With an impressive volume compared to other yachts of the same size, Tanzanite can accommodate 10 guests in five cabins including a full-beam master suite and four king-sized cabins (two of which are convertible to twins), all complete with their very own Jacuzzi baths. Her sizeable beach club offers a secluded spot for relaxation, while the large sundeck –which was extended by three metres in 2019 – features a hot tub and four bars well-suited for social gatherings. 

Tanzanite is asking $8,900,000 (tax paid) with IYC and will be anchored nearby.

Oceanic 143 - 43.5m

Builder: Canados
Year: 2023
Designers: Canados, Arrabito Naval Design, Michela Reverberi 

Winner of the "Best Naval Architecture - Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts" at the 2024 BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards, Oceanic 143 is praised for her twin-stepped hull, bulbous bow and shallow draft specifically designed to reduce friction. With the qualities of both a semi-displacement and long-range explorer, the 43.5-metre is a worthy flagship yacht of Italian yard Canados. Top features include the private owner's deck (which makes up the entire upper deck), an impressive, 130-square-metre aft deck, and the six-person Hammam located within the central mast. Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in five cabins. 

Oceanic 143 is asking $23,500,000 with IYC and will be anchored nearby.

Acacia - 40.1m

Builder: Sunseeker
Year: 2011
Designers: Sunseeker

Acacia belongs to the British shipyard's popular Sunseeker 131 series, sharing the water with 31 other sisterships including SH Magic and Elysium. What makes this 40.1-metre model so well-liked is her flybridge, set up with a Jacuzzi, sunpads, sit-up bar and water misters to keep guests cool on hot summer days. Two folding tables provide an al fresco dining option and can seat up to 12 guests. A hull repaint in 2019 left Acacia a series standout, with a new "majestic blue" hull and entirely refreshed teak across both the sundeck and interiors.

Acacia is asking $9,950,000 with Fraser.

Lady First - 40m

Builder: Riva
Year: 2023
Designers: Officina Italiana Design, Ferretti Engineering Department

Lady First is the largest model in Italian yard Riva's flybridge series, featuring a number of innovations designed to merge performance with volume. A widebody design, eight-metre beam and three full-size decks provide generous living spaces, while a planing hull and a GT under 300 keep this model practical and fast (with a maximum speed of 26 knots). Top features include a main deck lounge with 270-degree views, a head height of over two metres and an enormous cushioned sunpad and Jacuzzi on the bow. Accommodation is for up to 11 guests in five cabins, including a main deck owner's suite and a convertible guest cabin configured as either a twin or double.

Lady First is asking €20,900,000 with ABYS Yachting.

Plan A - 39.6m

Builder: Westport
Year: 2006
Designers: Gregory C. Marshall, William Garden, Westport

Built in the USA to a design by Gregory C. Marshall, Plan A belongs to the Westport 130 series. Accommodation on board is for up to 10 guests in five cabins, comprising one large master suite, two king-sized cabins, one queen-sized cabin and one twin. A standout feature of Plan A is the skylight windows in her master bathroom. She is also home to a Jacuzzi and two Jet Skis with a crane.

Plan A is asking $10,900,000 with ReelDeal Yachts.

Entourage - 38.1m

Builder: Norship
Year: 1994
Designers: Mulder Design, Paola D. Smith

One of this year's classic attendees, Entourage was designed by Frank Mulder, the mind behind this yacht's speedy 67-knot sistership, Moonraker. Entourage was not built for speed, though her new CAT engines (courtesy of a 2022-2023 refit) do propel the superyacht to an admirable maximum speed of 29.7 knots. Leisure features include a flybridge with Jacuzzi and "commanding views", a commercial-grade galley with an onyx prep island and plenty of storage for water toys, including two Jet Skis and an inflatable swimming pool. Accommodation comprises a VIP suite forward on the main deck, with the remaining guest cabins and owner's suite found on the lower deck.

Entourage is asking $3,700,000 with Denison Yachting.
