Italian yard FIPA Group has launched the first hull in its Maiora 33FB superyacht range.
Splashed this morning (June 7) in Viareggio, the new 33 metre arrival features a deep-vee planing fibreglass hull, which can deliver an estimated top speed of 28 knots.
Styled in-house by the Maiora Yachts team, the 33FB features a bright and airy saloon with large windows to let in plenty of natural light. Warm tones are achieved by contrasting the dark oak floor with dove grey wall linings and light fabrics.
The owner’s suite on the 33FB is situated to the fore of the main deck and is stretched across the full 6.8 metre beam. The central feature of this cabin is a geometric headboard design that sets the tone for a sophisticated environment throughout.
The layout below decks comprises two VIP suites and two twin guest cabins, while the bow-end crew quarters are accessed via the galley and include three further cabins.
External spaces are plentiful with a large flybridge sofa and full-size bar on the upper deck shaded by a chunky hardtop bimini. What’s more, a pair of sunbeds can emerge from underneath a hatch in the foredeck to create further lounging space.
Power comes from a pair of 2,600hp MTU M93 engines, and Maiora Yachts adds that the 33FB has been designed to cruise comfortably at a speed of 24 knots.
Upcoming projects from Maiora Yachts include the M40 and the M46, which would take over from the M43 as the flagship of the range.
