The in-build 80-metre Feadship superyacht Project Thalassa, also known as Project 826, has left the shed for the first time. Named after the Greek goddess of the beach, the build is now preparing for outfitting works in Amsterdam and is on track for a 2026 delivery.
Details are scarce but the shipyard has made note of Thalassa's "extraordinary beach club", which spans 165 square metres and features the largest openings ever built by Feadship. Exterior design is owed to Malcolm McKeon while the interiors will be styled by Milanese studio M2Atelier. Naval architecture has been completed by Feadship De Voogt.
Project Thalassa will be able to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Other key numbers include a 3.6-metre draught, a beam of 13.1 metres and a fuel capacity of 194,000 litres.
The superyacht was first revealed to the public in June 2024, when Feadship released a suite of interior renderings which teased the open-plan beach club setup. A semi-enclosed dining area, sundeck dip pool, main deck swimming pool and several sunbathing areas can also be spotted across Project Thalassa's four decks.
The news comes at a busy period for the Dutch yard, which recently celebrated the launch of the 101-metre Moonrise and the sea trials of the 79.9-metre Faith, both ordered by repeat clients and serial yacht owners.
