Columbus Yachts, a brand of the Palumbo Group, has announced the sale of its first Crossover 47 to a European client. Delivery is slated for 2027.
Designed by Hydro Tec, the 47-metre steel and aluminium yacht is defined by a classic white exterior design, with sharp angled surfaces and darkened windows stretching across the structure. In typical explorer style, the concentration of volumes is focused in the bow area. Meanwhile, her interior styling is owed to Milan-based studio Hot Lab.
According to the Italian shipyard, the yacht represents “a perfect example of flexibility and functionality, designed to maximise comfort on board and enhance every space.”
Although interior renderings remain undisclosed at this stage, the Crossover 47 will offer accommodation for up to 12 guests, comprising two doubles, two twins and a full-beam master cabin located on the main deck. The master suite includes a wardrobe, vanity desk, office and double bathroom. The main deck will also feature a spacious lounge area and dining table, with a pantry and galley forward of this.
Outdoor spaces on the upper deck will include a round outdoor table that seats six but can expand to accommodate ten, alongside a lounge and entertainment area internally. Up on the sun deck, in addition to spacious sunbathing and relaxation areas, a large bar and a second swimming pool have been planned.
Meanwhile, at the stern, the yacht is equipped to carry a tender of up to 3,000kg. The space can also be transformed into an “oasis for relaxation".
On her technical side, the yacht is powered by twin CAT C32 engines, offering a top speed of over 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. She boasts a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles when cruising at 10 knots. The Crossover 47 is also equipped with two pairs of stabilisers with zero-speed functionality.
Columbus Yachts recently released the first interior images of its custom 50-metre Anjelif following her delivery the month before.
