Turkish builder CMB Yachts has successfully launched a 47 metre superyacht at its shipyard in Antalya.
Named Fortuna, the yacht hit the water on August 15 in the Antalya Free Zone where she was seen for the first time carrying the Turkish flag on her bow.
Fortuna is believed to be the sistership to the 47 metre Liquid Sky which was launched by CMB Yachts in 2017.
The two possess similar design cues including vertical forward windows, a dual staircase leading up from the swim platform to a shaded aft deck lounge and curved sliding doors leading to a beach club. Other exterior features include a sundeck Jacuzzi fed by a waterfall flowing from the hardtop.
Fortuna has a beam of 8.85 metres and a 490GT of interior volume with accommodation for 12 guests and nine crew. Her interior is the work of Beril Başaran - Artebel Design, who also designed the interior for Liquid Sky, and is home to a full-beam master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite plus two doubles and two twins with a Pullman berth.
Power comes from a pair of 1,450hp CAT C32 engines that allow for a top speed of 15 knots and a maximum cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles at ten knots.
Fortuna will be presented to her owner at the end of September.
CMB Yachts has a second superyacht in the final stages of construction, known only as CMB106, and will begin production on an additional two superyachts next year.
