Atlante Yachts has announced a new addition to its explorer yacht range: the Atlante Classic 42. The 42-metre model is a step up from the yard's earlier model, the Atlante Classic 35; providing more volume, useable space and larger deck areas.
VYD Studio is responsible for the exterior design, while naval architecture is believed to be by Arrabito Naval Architects. The series will be built in steel and aluminium, with a shipyard yet to be selected.
The Atlante Classic 42 sets itself apart from its smaller sibling with a covered infinity pool on the main deck aft, complemented by a convertible beach club. Both spaces can be used in the "closed position" during long passages, with a flybridge Jacuzzi and tender garage emphasising the model's lifestyle focus.
Renderings also reveal a large sunbed on the bow, upper deck al fresco dining and a selection of sunloungers on the flybridge. Further details will be released in the new year, according to the shipyard.
In other news, the first unit in the Atlante Classic 35 series is currently under construction at Mengi Yay's shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey.
The hull and superstructure were joined in September 2024, with delivery to her "experienced Northern European" owner scheduled for spring 2025.
