Alpha Custom Yachts has presented a new, 25.9-metre model known as the Squalo 88.
The yacht belongs to the Italian shipyard's Squalo range, and has an exterior and interior design by Roberto Curto with naval architecture by Massimo Verme. The philosophy behind the design is "where every inch of her leaves a reminder of the open sea".
Initial renderings hint at a neutral-toned interior and ample space for lounging. Accommodation is for 10 across five cabins – comprising three VIP cabins and a twin on the lower deck, and an owner's suite on the main deck forward. There is further space for a crew of four.
Also on the main deck is the saloon with dining for 10 and sofas, with a plunge pool, high bar and cockpit lounge on the aft deck. On the upper deck, there is the option to have a pool aft, while a sunpad for four is forward of the flybridge.
The GRP yacht is powered by three MAN engines and can reach top speeds of 19 knots with a cruising speed of 16.5 knots.
This follows the news that the yard's third Squalo 100 has moved to its Fano facility for outfitting.
