More good news now as Kurt Lehmann at Yacht Moments finds a buyer for the 56m sailing yacht Parsifal IV listed for sale by Camper & Nicholsons (CNI) and Perini Navi USA.
Parsifal IV was built by renowned Italian yard Perini Navi and delivered in 2007 as the fourth 56 metre sailing superyacht to be launched by the yard. Although she shares the qualities and attributes of her sisters, Parsifal IV has her own character and elegant innovations, among them a hydraulically opening transom, which contains a structural staircase descending to a wide bathing platform, a portside platform and some differences in layout including a larger, athwartships dining room forward of the saloon and a corridor allowing crew to move from the aft cockpit to the crew quarters without infringing on guest privacy.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in five well-appointed staterooms, including a full-beam master suite. Her richly detailed and flawlessly executed Art Deco interior – accomplished by Perini Navi’s own designer Bernardo Chichi – won Best Sailing Yacht Interior at the 2008 World Superyacht Awards. Under power, twin 1,400hp Caterpillar engines deliver a cruising speed of 14 knots.
Parsifal IV was asking €26.5 million and will revert to her original name of Selene.
