SWS sailing yacht Farewell sold in just three months

After entering the market as recently as Februrary 2022, the 30.18 metre sailing yacht Farewell has been sold by Berthon International and Dolphin Yachts, with the buyer introduced by Jeremy Peek at Southern Wind. 

Farewell was built in Kevlar/composite by South African yard Southern Wind to RINA class with an exterior by Farr Yacht Design and an interior by Nauta Design. She was delivered in 2006 as one of the yard’s successful series of SWS 100DS advanced composite yachts.

Farewell was asking €3,950,000

Farewell has an impressive sail plan and features a modern sweeping deck house design. She is also fitted with a Cummins QSB 5.9 305hp diesel engine and has a cruising speed of 10.5 knots under power.

Up to eight guests can be hosted on board in four cabins. She has a large saloon with room for 10 people to dine and a home theatre system. Her master cabin has a double bed, vanity unit, settee and en-suite bathroom. Farewell also has a double bed VIP cabin and two twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to four crewmembers.

Toys carried on board include a 4.3 metre Novurania tender with a 60 hp Yamaha outboard engine, water skis, snorkelling and fishing gear, a towable donut and a canoe.

Farewell was asking €3,950,000.
