The 45-metre Royal Hakvoort motor yacht Awatea has joined the market with Stuart Larsen of Fraser.
Delivered in the Netherlands from Royal Hakvoort in 2008, the steel-hulled yacht, with aluminium superstructure, was refitted in 2023.
Her exterior, finished in pale blue and white, was styled by Cor D. Rover. The interior was designed by Felix Buytendijk and naval architecture is by Diana Yacht Design.
Accommodation is for a party of 10 to 14 in five cabins, including a full-beam master forward on the main deck. All four guest suites have additional Pullman berths and there are quarters for a crew of nine.
The interior is of a "modern classic style", with mahogany panels, bevelled raised-panel joinery and classic white painted surfaces with beamed deck heads. The prevailing colour scheme includes tones of blue, aqua and white. Her main saloon leads forward to a separate formal dining room, both spaces having large windows.
Awatea sports a sky lounge with a dining table and lounge seating, opening to al fresco dining table aft. Her tender garage converts into a "proper beach club" with its transom hatch folding out to form a swim platform, accessed via twin staircases. The sundeck features a whirlpool tub, bar, dining area and ample sunlounging spaces.
Twin 960hp Caterpillar diesels give the 499GT yacht for sale a top speed of 13.5 knots, cruising speed of 11.5 knots and range of 4,600 nautical miles.
Stuart Larsen pointed out that her 15-year Lloyd's Register survey has just been completed and Awatea was "the first yacht to be built for chartering under the Dutch government rules for Commercial Cruising Vessels (CCV)".
Lying in West Palm Beach, USA, Awatea is asking $21,900,000.
