The 36.5 metre motor yacht Izumi, listed for sale by David Seal and Ed Dickinson at Northrop & Johnson, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Yves Di Lena at YDL Yachting.
Izumi was built in aluminium by US yard Palmer Johnson to a design by Donald L Blount & Associates and delivered in 2008 as the sixth PJ120 Sportyacht by this renowned American builder, and has been only privately used by her one owner from new. From her crystal silver metallic paint to her instantly recognizable sweeping lines, Izumi is an excellent example of the now popular PJ 120 model that started the whole Palmer Johnson Sportyacht Series.
Her striking interior has been designed by Nuvolari Lenard and is a combination of lacewood highlighted with high-gloss ebony, wenge flooring and Crema Marfil marble accents. Both Lloyds and MCA certified, Izumi is built to handle rough seas and take guests wherever they want to go in the utmost comfort.
She offers spacious accommodation for as many as seven guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, two VIP staterooms and a single cabin, all with full en-suite bathroom facilities.
Her aluminium hull and twin 2,750hp MTU engines deliver a maximum speed of 29 knots while her 30,000-litre fuel capacity allows for an impressive range of 900 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 24 knots.
Izumi was asking €5.5 million.
