The 35 metre motor yacht Gaja, listed for sale by Rytis Babravicius at Camper & Nicholsons, has been sold in-house.
Designed both inside and out by Newcruise, she was built in steel and aluminium by Russian yard Hotchya to Bureau Veritas class and was delivered in 2006 with a refit in 2013. MCA compliant, she has an elegant Art Deco interior sleeping eight guests in four cabins. These consist of a master suite on the upper deck with a study and private access to the upper aft deck, while below deck is a VIP suite, a double and a twin cabin, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for four crew.
The main deck saloon of Gaja is decorated in a rich mixture of gold mosaics, marbles, leather and rare woods. Comfortable seating is on three large settees arranged in a U-shape facing the entertainment centre which includes a large flat screen television. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for eight guests and storage units for china, glassware and cutlery.
The outdoor spaces offer guests a range of places to dine or relax including a large aft deck with built in upholstered seating, a table and chairs while up on the flybridge Gaja offers a bar, barbecue, Jacuzzi, sun pads and a dining area.
Twin 550hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots, a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots and she is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilizers.
Gaja was asking €5,400,000.
