The 30.8 metre motor yacht Mar Azul, listed for sale by Michael DiCondia at Hargrave Custom Yachts, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in GRP by Hargrave to a design by JB Hargrave, Mar Azul was delivered in 2013. A high-quality interior by Yacht Interiors by Shelley in European cherry wood accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite and port and starboard twins, all with entertainment centres, Samsung LCD television screens and marble en suite bathroom facilities.
The furnishings in the main saloon are all custom designed and have linear, generous proportions. The lounge area seats 10 guests easily and the fabrics were selected for comfort and durability. Forward, the dining table seats eight guests comfortably and is an elegant rectangular shape with slight curves on the sides and cross grained cherry details on the top.
The aft deck is particularly welcoming to al fresco diners with a full wet bar to port, custom made woven vinyl chairs, a solid teak table and a 46 inch LED Samsung television screen mounted on the aft bulkhead.
The flybridge can easily accommodate 24 in comfort, offering two large L-shaped settees and a full service bar to port with four bar stools. The sun pads are situated under the hard top for those who like to lounge outdoors but not necessarily in the full heat of the noonday sun. Aft to starboard is a cooking area, built-in cooler and a spa tub. Twin 1,700hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 19 knots and she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
Mar Azul was asking $6,950,000.
