The 52.1 metre motor yacht Gravitas, listed for sale by Mark Elliott at IYC, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built by Dutch yard Feadship to Lloyd’s class and launched in 1995, she was designed by the De Voogt Naval Architects studio. In 2014 she had a full repaint and a brand new interior in satin finished walnut panelling with designer soft goods.
Accommodation is for 16 guests in eight luxurious cabins including an outstanding four-room master suite with a separate sitting room, office and breakfast bar. There are four further double suites and two twin cabins, all with en suite bathroom facilities.
The open plan saloon offers blissful relaxation, with two full sofa seating areas and a games table. Forward is the formal dining room which can be partitioned for privacy. The table seats 10 or can be extended to seat 14, The sky lounge has a sophisticated audio/visual system enabling guests to watch the latest offerings from Hollywood or simply relax at the 360 degree indoor/outdoor bar.
Outside, the shaded aft deck has two U-shaped table arrangements seating 12 guests while the sun deck offers comfortable seating, a six person Jacuzzi, a bar and an optional awning to provide shade from the sun.
Conceived with worldwide cruising as a top priority, Gravitas has effortlessly logged more than 250,000 nautical miles to date and is ideally suited for both charter and private use anywhere in the world. Other features include a heli-pad, beach club and at anchor stabilizers.
Twin 1,410hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots.
Gravitas was asking $19,850,000.
