The 29.41 metre motor yacht Queen of Diamonds, listed for sale by Joe Majcherek at Gilman Yachts, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Rory Kline at HMY Yacht Sales.
Built in GRP by Hong Kong yard Cheoy Lee to a design by Michael G Burnvenich, she was delivered in 2006 as the flagship of the yard’s Bravo series. Strong, lightweight and quiet as a result of her resin infused composite construction, she returns impressive speed and fuel economy levels.
Her interior décor by Lisa Pirofsky has mahogany panelling with a satin finish and uses accent woods including Mappa burl inserts in all doors and the use of burl accents throughout. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins consisting of upper and lower deck master suites with king sized beds and two VIP suites, all with en suite bathrooms in granite.
The main saloon offers a granite topped wet bar including a fridge, ice maker and liquor storage and has a built in settee plus three upholstered easy chairs and a cocktail table. Forward is a dining area with six chairs and a grand staircase leads down to the guest accommodation. The observation lounge has a raised U-shaped dinette settee with a wooden table plus two custom stainless steel bar stools,
The enclosed sky lounge comes with a helm chair, freshwater windscreen wipers, an L-shaped settee, coffee table, and a wet bar with a fridge. Aft of the sky lounge is the sun deck with a bar and bar stools, ice maker, an L-shaped settee with upholstered cushions, a Lynx barbecue grill, and a Novurania tender. Twin 1,652hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 20 knots.
