Simon Goldsworthy at Camper & Nicholsons confirms that he's closed on his listing for sale, the 37m sailing yacht Northern Spirit.

Northern Spirit was styled by Bruce Farr and delivered by Italian superyacht yard Perini Navi in 1996 with a major refit in 2012. Previously known as Salperton, she features a large and very comfortable aft deck with alfresco dining facilities for up to seven guests protected by a Bimini top.

A bright and cheerful main saloon has luxurious furnishings and panoramic windows offering terrific views, and is also fitted with a large screen television, Kaleidescape on-demand audio/visual system and surround sound.

A warm cherry wood interior accommodates seven guests in an opulent master suite and two twin staterooms, one with a Pullman berth and all with en suite facilities. Another cabin off the main saloon can be used by a nanny or crew member.

Northern Spirit was asking €4.95 million.
