Italian shipyard Baglietto has announced the sale of the seventh hull in its 40 metre DOM 133 series, the first of which made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier this year.
The order marks the fourth DOM 133 sale of 2022 and was signed with IBI Yachts acting on behalf of the buyer. Delivery is scheduled for 2025 with Andrea Pezzini of Floating Life appointed as the yacht's technical surveyor and project manager.
Known as hull number 10254, the yacht features a "modern layout" with an open-air beach club that extends across two levels. The space includes a swimming pool that sits between the main deck and swim platform, with a floor that can be raised or lowered to increase the amount of usable space in the cockpit.
Exterior design and naval architecture, courtesy of Stefano Vafiadis, offers a limited draught designed to allow easy passage through areas with especially shallow waters such as the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
"The sale of this seventh hull, the eighth in the DOM series is further confirmation of the validity of a project synthesising the perfect combination of technology, aesthetics and versatility of uses and spaces, elements that have ensured its great appreciation by the international market," said Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto CCO. He also alluded to "interesting new developments" to come for the popular model.

Other customisable features include a possible lift installation, as well as added hybrid propulsion. Otherwise, the DOM 133 series is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines which provide a top speed of 17 knots.
