Each week, we spotlight one of the world’s finest yachts for charter. This week, BOAT takes a closer look at Lady Vera, the 73.5-metre Nobiskrug motor yacht that spends most of her time cruising the Greek islands.
Delivered in 2011 by the renowned German shipyard Nobiskrug and extensively refitted in 2023, Lady Vera is a masterclass in modern refinement. Her crisp white profile, sculptural lines and generous 1,585GT of interior volume make a statement on the water – particularly when paired with an all-new beach club, fine art collection and refreshed interiors.
Standout exterior and volume
Designed by Newcruise, Lady Vera’s powerful lines are defined by a distinctive dip in the superstructure. Her sheer scale is impressive: four decks, a helipad, a vast aft deck for entertaining and a wealth of indoor-outdoor lounging areas. Her robust German engineering ensures she’s as capable as she is elegant, cruising comfortably between Greece’s idyllic islands.

Refined interiors with character
Following her 2023 refit, the yacht for charter’s main saloon feels bright and modern, with twin seating areas, a black lacquered grand piano and colourful modern artwork anchoring the space. A whimsical crab shell table display, ceramic dog statues and ball coral arrangements add a sense of personality, while the dining table seats all 12 guests with ease.
Upstairs, the upper deck lounge offers an additional relaxed setting, opening onto an al fresco dining space that’s ideal for long summer lunches overlooking the Greek coastline.
Indoor-outdoor living
At water level, the newly upgraded beach club is a highlight. Reimagined in an Art Deco style, it now features a full lounge area, sauna, Hammam and en suite facilities. The new layout allows for easy access to the sea and the wide array of toys stored here. Meanwhile, up top, he touch-and-go helipad allows guests to arrive by air and doubles as a versatile space for yoga, dancing or open-air lounging.
Lady Vera’s expansive deck spaces makes her an ideal choice for entertainment and leisurely activities – and is where most of the charter action unfolds. Equipped with a cinema projector for outdoor movie nights, a large Spa Pool and a fully stocked bar forward, this is the spot where most of the charter will take place. There is also a raised aft area with deep sun pads that provides ample space for sunbathing under the warm Mediterranean sun while admiring the Greek islands.
Life on board Lady Vera
Life for charter guests on board blends comfort with subtle glamour. Mornings begin with an elegant breakfast setup: pink smoothies, marshmallow jars, Greek doughnuts, speciality white omelettes and seasonal fruits – all served around the aft deck bar, set with glistening pink ice cubes and chilled champagne for good measure.
Accommodation includes a master suite on the main deck with his-and-hers bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, and a private office with an additional en suite and sofa bed. Five further double cabins – two of which are convertible – are spread across the lower and upper decks, all offering a peaceful retreat after a day in the sun.
Guests can also enjoy a soundproof cinema with a Dolby surround system for an immersive experience reminiscent of a traditional theatre, as well as a fully equipped gym with TRX, dumbbells and a treadmill, and an onboard spa with a Hammam and sauna for the full wellness experience.
