The 80-metre Oceanco superyacht Batello, formerly known as Aalto, has rejoined the charter market with IYC following a six-month refit at Genoese shipyard Amico & Co.
As the first yacht to use the Oceanco standard platform (named Y700), Batello was a trendsetter at the time of her launch. The Nuvolari Lenard design was equipped with a series of features that were virtually non-existent on board yachts of that era, including a heated swimming pool, a massage room, a helipad and a stabilised pool table.
Refit works involved the installation of a new mini basketball and pickleball sports area on the bridge deck aft, as well as new soft furnishings in the master cabin, VIP cabin, main deck guest cabins and the upper deck saloon. She also benefited from a refreshed exterior paint job and an LED lighting upgrade.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across nine cabins, at the centre of which is a full-beam owner's suite complete with a terrace and access to the Portuguese bridge (and its two Jacuzzis). The VIP cabin is another highlight, positioned on the bridge deck for 270-degree views.
Other highlights include an elevator connecting all interior decks, an outdoor cinema and an extensive toy collection, including a chase boat, a rock climbing wall and an inflatable slide.
Last year, Batello was selected as BOAT International's charter yacht of the week. She is for charter with IYC asking $735,000 per week.
