Turquoise Yachts has launched the 74 metre superyacht NB66 in Istanbul.
Built for a repeat client, the superyacht hit the water for the first time at a "lush ceremony" attended by the owner. Due for delivery in September, NB66 features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and "sleek" and "elegant" exterior lines by A.Vallicelli & C. Yacht Design. The 1558GT interior was penned by Ken Freivokh.
Speaking about the exterior, Vallicelli said: "Visually, the decks decrease progressively towards the aft end creating a profile with strong diagonal lines that create harmony between the superstructure shapes and the hull."
The interior meanwhile has been styled around "classical elegance", according to Freivokh. "The idea is to achieve a layout that has complete integration between the decks and key internal spaces— with everything designed to maximise the continuity of the yacht’s lines as well as long sightlines."
Key features include a spiral staircase in the central lobby and large windows allowing plentiful natural light into the saloons, dining room and guest cabins. The design is described as "bright and welcoming" with materials including veneers, marbles, leathers and granites.
Accommodation is for a total of 14 guests in an owner's suite and six additional guest cabins. The full-beam beach club aft is large enough to store a 9.6m limousine tender and guest tender. Additional garage space forward stores a crew tender and multiple jet skis. Elsewhere, a touch and go helipad sits forward of the upper deck, seven-metre pool, steam room, massage room and indoor/outdoor gym.
