The keel has been laid on The Italian Sea Group's (TISG) 70-metre Admiral superyacht C.616. Delivery of the yacht is expected in 2027.
The Italian Sea Group Centro Stile is responsible for the yacht's design, where the exteriors are defined by "elegant lines, ample outdoor living spaces and large windows". Meanwhile, the interior layout is comprised of seven VIP and guest cabins, including the full-beam master cabin, and a further 10 crew cabins.
Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group, commented on the project: “When building a yacht, the keel laying ceremony, a long-standing maritime tradition, is a moment of great emotion, both for the shipyard and for the owner company.”
This follows the news last week regarding the successful resale of hull one in Admiral's 72-metre Giorgio Armani-designed superyacht series, known as Project Metamorphosis.
