Tansu Yachts in Istanbul has signed a new contract for a 38.4m superyacht codenamed Tigershark One.
It is the second piece of big news for Tansu in two months after the announcement of an order for a new 43 metre superyacht, Cyclone.
The new project will be the first off the Tigershark platform which the Turkish yard has been working on for some time. The concept offers much flexibility in terms of planning each yacht’s interior space, giving owners the chance to put their own stamp on their model, with different layout configurations available. The design house and yard has not revealed any further details about the superyacht. Previous notable Tansu launches this year, for instance So'Mar and Alyssa, have been constructed in wood composite.
Tigershark One is scheduled for delivery mid-2016.
