Polish yard Sunreef Yachts has revealed the flagship model in its Ultima catamaran range at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival

Known as the Ultima 111, the 33.8-metre is designed in collaboration with Dutch design agency Phathom Studio and will be built at its facility in Ras al Khaimah in the UAE, which was previewed by the BOAT International team earlier this year.

The range is billed as "the world's most technically hybrid ecospeeder"

"The larger you go, the more stretched and horizontal lines you start seeing," explained Phathom Studio's Fabian Henke at the Sunreef Yachts press conference. "We tried to keep the Ultima 111 as dynamic as her siblings with strong, forward-facing diagonals and oversized fashion plates."

Accommodation is across five cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite with a private terrace and access to the foredeck. The previous models had the guest cabins on the lower deck, but the Ultima 111's extra tonnage means they can be repositioned on the main deck for improved views. The hulls are entirely dedicated to crew as a result, arranged across four cabins including the captain's quarters.

The model has side opening balconies on the main and lower deck

Another noteworthy feature is the galley, which is situated in the portside hull with a dumbwaiter that can service the al fresco dining areas on the main and upper decks.

On the leisure side, the upper deck lounge benefits from a Jacuzzi flanked by sunpads with a dining area and lounge seating aft. An openable hardtop allows for greater flexibility in all seasons. The beach club has the same general configuration as the previous Ultima models with unfolding bulwarks and sunbathing options. The aft garage can house a tender and a Waverunner.

An open-concept atrium staircase connects all three levels

Specs are not finalised but the Ultima 111 is expected to reach a maximum speed of 25-26 knots. A hybrid version will be available.

At the conference, Sunreef Yachts also announced the sale of the third unit in its Eco 43M series. The model is designed with an advanced hydro-generation system for "emission-free cruising" and "infinite range", according to the shipyard.
