Only three months after the delivery of SW82 Grande Orazio, Southern Wind has announced the launch of Farfalla, the third of their SW102 series.
The launch took place on May 5 in Cape Town's commercial harbour, in the presence of the owner and his family.
Farfalla is the first Raised Saloon version of the SW102. Elegant lines feature panoramic windows allowing 270-degree views and ample light in the saloon. The yacht has been designed by the same trusted team of Nauta Yacht Design for the general design, deck and interior design, and Farr Yacht Design for the naval architecture and sail plan.
Notable features of Faefalla, which will make her the ideal charter yacht, include a spacious flush deck, a tender garage for a four-metre dinghy, and a mainsail captive winch.
The yacht interior follows Southern Wind Shipyard’s most popular lay-out, with Owner’s cabin forward, three guest cabins amidships, and crew quarters aft. Farfalla will leave Cape Town at the end of June and will be available for charter from Summer 2014.
