In March 2010, we published our first Market Intelligence news online. It was for the launch of Lammouche, the first Sanlorenzo superyacht in their 46 Steel series. Yesterday, less than a year later, the Italian shipyard announces the launch of Carol, the second hull in this series.
With a length of 46m, this steel and aluminium trideck is designed by Viareggio Division Style, a department of Sanlorenzo. Her exterior lines echo the Sanlorenzo style in other series from the yard. This design also provides maximum daylight to the interior.
Like her predecessor, details that ensured the success of the first hull are present: the stern Beach Club, a large lateral tender garage, a toy garage below the foredeck and the lower deck housing technical and service areas.
Carol is powered by twin Caterpillar 3512B engines of 1,500kW each, giving a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economical speed of 12 knots.
Carol will be delivered this Spring.
