Turkish shipyard B&I Yachts has offered a first look inside the 49.2-metre Provocateur (ex Ipanema) following a major exterior and interior refit.
Work began in October 2022 and was completed last week.
Originally designed by Hot Lab, the shipyard has repainted Provocateur's cherry-red exterior a shade of grey. Her interiors (also designed by Hot Lab) have been revised by Ozge Van to match this new, contemporary concept.
Accommodation is for 12 guests comprising a main deck owner's suite, VIP cabin, a double and two twins plus two Pullman berths. All cabins feature entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. Post-refit, Provocateur's interior aesthetic is minimalist and monochromatic, incorporating integrated lighting, light woods and contemporary-style furniture.
Elsewhere, Provocateur 's stern platform is now structurally independent from the garage, which has been converted into a beach club with a sauna. B&I Yachts has also installed a 15-tonne Jacuzzi onboard, as well as new RGB lights for her nameplate. Even her rescue boat has been reworked and now features a hydraulic sunbed.
Power comes from a pair of 2,185hp MTU 16V2000 M84 engines for a fast cruising speed of 17 knots. When trimmed back to 12 knots, Provocateur has a cruising range of 3,500 nautical miles.
