Dixon Yacht Design has revealed a 37 metre sailing yacht concept named Project Fly.
Described by the studio as a “lifestyle statement”, the sailing concept came about after Dixon set out to design a “sleek and desirable” flybridge-style yacht.
The hull and superstructure will be constructed from composite material with the environmentally friendly natural fibre AmpliTex to reduce the carbon footprint of the yacht.
Key features on board this cruising yacht include a “moderate sail area/ displacement ratio”, 200GT interior and plenty of outdoor living areas, including an enclosed flybridge and recessed cockpit forward.
Outside dining meanwhile will take place beneath the flybridge. A large beach terrace sits at the stern.
Accommodation on board is for eight guests including an owner’s stateroom with direct access to the beach terrace and three further guest cabins located aft. The crew area and galley sit forward of the centrally located engine room.
